Carrington Mortgage Services Names Industry Veteran Jeff Gillis Senior Vice President of Operations; Promotes Mariano Demarin to Retail National Sales Director
Company expands leadership team to facilitate growth and provide expanded capabilities and services to a broader market
The lending division of Carrington Mortgage Services, LLC (Carrington) today announced the addition of industry veteran Jeff Gillis as Senior Vice President of Operations and the promotion of Mariano Demarin to National Sales Director for its retail lending division. The recent changes reflect the company’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its leadership team and to better serve the market with expanded offerings, faster turn times and a broader geographical reach.
A 20-year mortgage industry veteran with a reputation for consistently innovating and implementing business strategies to drive positive results, Jeff Gillis’ experience in mortgage lending is complimented by a diverse background across multiple disciplines, including operations, technology and marketing. He was most recently Chief Strategy Officer for Nations Direct Mortgage. As Carrington’s Senior Vice President of Operations, Jeff’s first order of business will be to complete Carrington’s conversion to Encompass360™ loan origination software.
As National Sales Director for Carrington’s retail lending division, Mariano Demarin will assume responsibility for all sales and branch operations within the company’s retail channel. A real estate lending professional of more than 20 years, Mariano joined Carrington in 2010 as Regional Vice President – a role in which he successfully expanded the company’s network of retail lending locations and was directly responsible for establishing the company’s East Coast presence.
